Broad-leaved meadowgrass,   forest blue grass

Native mostly to mountainous regions in central and southern Europe. Naturalised in woodlands in northern parts of the British Isles. Leaves bright green, to 9mm wide. Blooms spring or early summer to 1m tall. Effective in groups or masses.
