Carex comans green (Cyperaceae)

Hairy sedge

From New Zealand comes this rather fine little plant forming dense tufts of very narrow, thread-like even, gracefully arching, bright yellowish-green leaves. Highly attractive when covered with hoarfrost or under a light cover of snow. A really good and satisfactory grass-like edging plant.
