Brachypodium sylvaticum (Poaceae)

Native to Europe and the British Isles. Shade loving grass that bears arching panicles of narrow, fine-awned spikelets above yellowish-green leaves. Flowers in mid and late summer growing to 90cm. Can be planted in drifts with other shade and moisture loving plants.
