The Aqueduct In Segovia c50 - 120 a.d.
One of the greatest monuments of Roman engineering,
this aqueduct stretches from the walls of the town to the
Sierra de Guadarrama a distance of about 10 miles.
It is made of rough-hewn granite blocks without bindings or mortar.
The aqueduct was in use until the 20th Century.
